Yasmin Akhavan

Yasmin is a sales veteran for over 25 years, Yasmin was a gemologist at Tiffany & Co. for a decade. She began selling diamonds, and went on to become the coordinator of the Trade Accounts in the Middle East. She was responsible for opening stores, training staff, and managing operations with the support of Tiffany & Co. and her group. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Yasmin ran her own concierge services company, which consulted with prominent clients in the U.S. and overseas. She personally coordinated flawless, creative deals involving the purchase and sale of fine art, jewelry, and antiques. Yasmin chose to go into real estate because it allows her to do what she loves, and be in her element with people who are making an important decision at a very crucial time in their lives. Her balance of pragmatism and resourcefulness from her business background helps her assist clients in obtaining even the loftiest goals. In her free time, Yasmin enjoys going to the theater, biking along the Hudson River, and learning about different cultures and languages. She is fluent in English, French, and Farsi.
