Monique Walker

Monique Walker is a native Brooklynite who has lived in the historic neighborhoods of Park Slope and Bedford-Stuyvesant her entire life. Born to two successful entrepreneurs, her business experience spans from that of a restauranteur, to sales and marketing, to the logistics of limousine transportation, and beyond. Monique studied music and political science at Colgate University, which also allowed her to take residence in Venice, Italy on a language immersion program. A world traveler, her musical tastes range from Brazilian sambas to easy jazz and classical. A former singer and commercial actress, she enjoys theater, opera and fine dining. Monique has lived the New York life and continues to spread her magical charm working on charity events, cultural dance programs, all while doing bikram yoga for fun. Growing up, New York was her playground and she knows it through and through.
