Ann Guttman

Ann Guttman has been involved in New York City real estate for over 25 years. An Associate Broker specializing in the sale and purchase of luxury homes, Ann’s experience and skill are invaluable in guiding and advising her clients with regard to the pricing and marketing of their properties. When representing buyers, Ann asks the right questions to get her client’s what they truly want in the time that they want. Prior to joining Compass Ann most recently was in Upper Management at one of New York’s top firms where she trained and coached agents and developed their businesses. Having been a top producer in Manhattan real estate sales for 20 years Ann is thrilled to be back providing buyers and sellers with expert service. Ann graduated from the Yale School of Music and had a thriving music career as a professional French Horn player. Music took Ann across the globe, from Tokyo to Brazil, from Broadway to Carnegie Hall , and from The New York Philharmonic to Radio City Music Hall and performing with iconic performers such as Blood Sweat and Tears, Stevie Wonder, to name a few. Applying the same qualities of discipline, determination, dedication and attention to detail that allowed her to succeed in the highly competitive world of New York’s music business , Ann finds real estate to be a career that is both strategic and highly creative. Ann lives in Manhattan with her husband a jazz musician and a licensed psychoanalyst and their very lovable wire haired fox terriers.
