Russell Newman

Growing up in New York, Russell was always intrigued by real estate. He attended Queens College and took real estate classes at NYU where he earned his Broker’s License. For his first job as a vendor, Russell took the 7 train from Queens to Madison Square Garden and fell in love with all that Manhattan offers. Living in Queens, Long Island and Manhattan has given him a unique perspective on the New York living experience. Russell pursued his passion for real estate at the largest brokerage company in New York at the time, JI Sopher. He advanced his career from positions as an onsite agent to offsite leasing and sales, and later served as the firm’s General Manager and Vice President. Russell subsequently worked for commercial and residential real estate developer SJ Landu as a Vice President, taking projects from preconstruction to completion. As founder of Newman Properties, Inc., his definition of selling and service revolves around interacting with people, and having strong core values to maintain and grow your business. Russell is a devoted husband, father, and animal lover who thinks everyone in the family deserves the best place to call home.
