Shan Chowdhury

Shan believes putting the client’s interest front and center is the only path to a successful transaction. Combining that level of integrity with strategic acumen, strong negotiation and communication skills, and high-touch service are the steps to mastering the craft of selling real estate and what Shan truly strives for.

Moving quickly and meticulously through each successful transaction - Shan’s talent and expertise earned him the 2017 Rising Star Award and the prestigious citywide Real Estate Board of New York Rookie of The Year Award in 2018.

His career in the real estate industry started in New York City by servicing multi-family landlords with marketing and leasing rent-stabilized units. Having closed a record number of rental transactions in the first two years, Shan quickly transitioned into assisting clients to buy, sell, and lease their condos, coops, and townhouses all over the city.

Prior to real estate - Shan worked as a commodities trader and a metallurgical manufacturing start-up. Having been in boarding schools throughout his educational years and traveled around the world with his family, Shan brings a unique set of skills and experiences that allows him to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life.Shan and his wife, Ashley, are longtime residents of Long Island City. Shan also served as the president of his condo board for over 7 years.
