Toshi Mochizuki

About Toshi As a salesperson at heart, Toshi's main goal is to satisfy his clients. Having spent 10 years as a NYC travel coordinator and tour guide for his own business, he is highly adept at catering to people's needs, and knows this city inside and out. As a travel coordinator, Toshi tailored his services and tours to each client. For instance, he arranged for a dentist from Japan to observe the operations of top NYC dentists, and for a Japanese kindergarten owner to visit classes and talk to school administrators and teachers in NYC schools. Toshi even planned and conducted a tour of NYC dessert spots for a restaurateur seeking to research dessert trends for a new dessert bar in Tokyo! Toshi’s passion for New York is deep; his commitment to his clients is genuine; and his attention to detail is impeccable. An extensive background in sales and customer service, and a keen eye for design arms him with the exceptional skills and creativity needed to guide clients to their perfect home. He is as good as a listener as he is thoughtful, kind, friendly and patient. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Toshi holds a Bachelor of Communications degree from Nihon University. He spent eight years as a medical representative at Novartis Pharma in Tokyo, and five years exporting goods and apparel to Japan. But perhaps his favorite role of all has been as the primary caregiver for his children for the past 10 years. A New York City resident for over two decades, Toshi lived in Chelsea and Flatiron before buying his family's home in Park Slope in 2008. He enjoys sharing his insights and enthusiasm about the city, Brooklyn in particular, with his clients seeking to buy, sell or rent property here. Toshi loves spending free time in Prospect Park with his wife and kids, and volunteers regularly at his children's school. His hobbies are diverse and include swimming, snowboarding, jet skiing, playing frisbee, listening to jazz, playing the trumpet, drawing and sewing costumes for his children.
