Danny Castillo

Born and raised on the Upper West Side, Danny Castillo has been all over the world and formed great relationships which have carried with him to his real estate business. He attended high school in Ponce, Puerto Rico where his parents started their medical practice, then came back to New York to study at St. John's University, also playing Division 1 basketball for the Red Storm under Coach Mike Jarvis. After college, with hopes of traveling the world but the lack of funds to do so, Danny decided to become a flight attendant. He got very lucky and landed a job with a private airline charter company (Primaris Airlines) that gave him the opportunity to see the world more than a few times over. Danny experienced many cultures and met very interesting and amazing people in his time as a flight attendant, enabling him to expand his network globally. When the airline went under in 2008, he pursued his passion for real estate, and for the past 11+ successful years, has been specializing mainly in off-market deals. Danny has always been able to accomplish what he sets his mind to, and he can certainly find you the perfect home or buyer if given the chance. His unquestionable integrity, innovating thinking, great focus and persistence have led him to excel in residential sales, and continually satisfy the needs of a discerning clientele. An Upper West Side resident for most of his life, Danny enjoys working in that neighborhood as well as in Morningside Heights and Harlem. He currently resides in Long Island City, Queens, another vibrant NYC community that has won his heart. Fluent in Spanish and English, Daniel still loves to travel whenever time allows. His leisure interests include watching and playing baseball and basketball, trying out Transcendental Meditation, and sharing his time with his blind cat Ophelia who he rescued.
