Michael Frucht

Michael is a native New Yorker born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, and now living on the Upper East Side. He understands the city the way only people who grew up here do: neighborhood by neighborhood, block by block, each with its own vibe and personality.

He has successfully represented buyers in over 75 million dollars in NYC real estate transactions and helps clients make smart moves in markets that rarely slow down.

Buyers work with Michael because he is direct, calm under pressure, and very good at explaining what actually matters and what does not. He focuses on preparation, realistic pricing, and a clear game plan, helping clients get the best deals and navigate the entire process seamlessly.

Michael holds a BA in History and Philosophy from SUNY Binghamton and a master’s degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. He is a proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and former Program Manager with the Jesuit Refugee Service in Thailand, which means he is comfortable with complexity, deadlines, and situations where details really matter.

He’s lived and worked in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and China, so his recommendations for authentic Asian food in the city come with strong opinions.

Outside of real estate, Michael spends his time walking the city, traveling, meditating, reading, playing chess, volunteering, and holding court in Irish pubs.

He believes buying in NYC should be taken seriously, but not so seriously that it stops being a positive and exciting experience.
