Edward Svec

Edward Svec started out in real estate in 2014 after his own personal experience buying a home a couple of years earlier.  Searching for a home on his own Edward encountered disinterested listing agents, was referred to a buyer agent that did not provide value, and then resorted to looking on his own again.  An experience that should have been exciting and positive was lacking quality service.  

Always determined to help improve business models and concepts Edward decided to become a licensed REALTOR® to provide a better experience for buyers and sellers.  The path in real estate began working with Signature Homes Ltd., a builder and brokerage.  During his time at Signature Homes Ltd. Edward sold new construction, listed homes for sellers, and worked with buyers.  Working under the guidance of Muzzio Tallini, an experienced builder and attorney, was an incredible learning experience since every conversation was like sitting in a graduate level college classroom.    

In the fall of 2017 Edward decided to pursue his Broker’s License and during the winter of 2018 began the process of acquiring a NextHome franchise.  In June of 2018 NextHome All Island was founded to provide buyers and sellers with an exceptional real estate experience throughout the metropolitan New York area.  Edward and his team have helped clients from Westchester to Riverhead while winning office and individual awards with NextHome.  

In March of 2024 Edward decided to move in a different direction and joined Compass real estate.  Edward and his team have experience helping clients with single family homes, multi-family homes, condos, co-ops, and commercial properties with an expertise in churches. The team is looking forward to continuing to provide their clients with an exceptional experience utilizing the resources provided by Compass.  

Beyond real estate, Edward supports the Long Island Alzheimer’s and Dementia Foundation as an event sponsor and hosting an annual March Madness Final Event fundraiser.  As well, Edward is a member and sponsor of the Long Island Breakfast Club, a group founded to offer support to members in search of employment opportunities.
