Jad Cary

Employing a background in corporate banking and new development finance, Jad is one of the very few Real Estate Brokers who truly understands his role as a specialist. He serves as the director on every client's quest of selling their property or finding their new home. With his extensive knowledge of real estate and finance markets, he orchestrates the process from the first idea through final closing and execution of the deal. Jad’s seasoned building and sales experience, sharp and creative ideas, enables him to lead and originate opportunities for buyers, sellers and developers alike. Prior to joining the Mackay | Dixon team at Douglas Elliman, Jad spent over five years at Macquarie Bank as a Relationship Manager providing working capital funding and property finance to professional services firms and high net worth individuals. He remains very active in the market, attending industry events and keeping up with the U.S. and global economies to anticipate changes that might impact NYC real estate. His other favorite activity is previewing new developments, to give him ready knowledge of different apartments to match to his clients’ wish list. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Jad holds a Masters of Commerce in Finance from the University of New South Wales. He also studied Aviation at the University of South Australia when he gained his commercial pilot license. Prior to finance Jad worked for Qantas Airways where he was a Senior Manager in Flight Operations. He enjoys travelling the world, has a passion for architecture and interiors, and lives in Tribeca with his husband who is an award-winning interior architect in NYC.
