Michael Cooper

With a history of working in ever-changing, competitive and fast-paced environments, Michael is well equipped to guide people through the often stressful real estate process. He has not only moved numerous times, thanks to his successful 27-year career with InterContinental Hotels; he has traveled extensively gaining a valuable world perspective. Michael is knowledgeable in all of Manhattan, especially Midtown where he previously lived. Other key areas he serves include the East River neighborhoods, from his current home in Astoria to Long Island City to NW Brooklyn. “As a former hotelier, I live and breathe hospitality, and offer a level of personalized service that exceeds expectations. I am flexible, honest and communicative with my clients, while giving the attention necessary to provide the ultimate customer service experience.” After the hotel business, Michael returned to NYC to get married and live life to the fullest in his favorite city in the world. His wanderlust for travel has sent him to visit over 50 countries. He is also passionate about food and cooking, traversing all the wonderful neighborhoods in the city, and exploring the local cultures and culinary delights provided. Originally from England, Michael grew up in New York State. He graduated from both The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY with an Associate’s in Culinary Arts, and Florida International University in Miami with a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management.
