A native New Yorker with more than a decade of experience in residential sales, leasing, and new development, Julia Nimchuk brings a strategic, highly personal approach to New York City real estate.

Julia built extensive experience in luxury new development in-house at one of New York's premier developers, including selling and leasing some of Manhattan’s most prominent residential projects. Her background spans sales, leasing, pricing strategy, market research, marketing, and client advisory, giving her a particularly nuanced understanding of how to position properties and navigate complex transactions.

Today, Julia leads The Jing Chen Team at Compass, where she works with buyers, sellers, investors, and landlords across Manhattan and Brooklyn while also overseeing the team’s operations, marketing, and growth. She is especially focused on helping clients make sense of a market that can often feel opaque. Julia excels at translating data, neighborhood dynamics, and property-specific considerations into clear, actionable advice.
