James Finelli is a native New Yorker, born and raised on the south shore of Long Island. He graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He first began his professional career working as a financial analyst a Fortune 500 Company. This gave him the tools and foundation he would later use towards a successful career in real estate. Ultimately, he realized corporate culture was not for him and decided to pursue a more rewarding entrepreneurial career, focused on interpersonal relationships, which is where he thrives.

Throughout the years, James has represented clients in all areas of transactional real estate. He specializes in educating his clients so they feel confident making informed, smart decisions.

James currently represents exclusively over 60 multi-family buildings throughout New York City, in addition to assisting hundreds of tenants and landlords in residential and commercial sale and leasing negotiations.

James is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and is known for his professionalism, transparency, and dedication to his clients. After many years in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where he became deeply familiar with the neighborhood's evolving market, James continues to apply that expertise to serve clients across the city. He is also the creator of Williamsburg Weekly on Facebook, a community platform highlighting local news, real estate, and events.
