Monica Chou

Originally from Macau while also having lived in Shanghai and New York, Monica has a unique international understanding of Chinese and Western cultures. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Shanghainese.

Monica pursued her education at The New York Fashion Institute of Technology where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree having double majored in Fine Arts and Graphic/Advertising Design. She combines her background in art with generational roots to help clients navigate through the real estate market. With immense dedication and high energy, she works thoroughly to achieve her clients' real estate goals.

As a local resident of New York City since 1999, Monica knows the many distinctive neighborhoods that make this great city a tapestry of exciting and ever-changing venues. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of current affairs with clients, helping them realize their visions of a dream apartment whether it is in Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn.

Monica is the founder of "Yes to Life, Mon", a blog now in its fifth year (over 21,000 followers) sending encouragement, support, and love to women who are fighting against breast cancer. In her free time, she enjoys cooking with her loved ones, reading, playing the piano (grade 8), listening to music, engaging with fans on her blog, and writing lifestyle columns that you might have even read throughout different Chinese magazines!
