Laureen Szmulewicz

Laureen Szmulewicz is a seasoned real estate broker with more than two decades of selling and renting wonderful apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn. From that moderate first apartment for a new buyer, to an exquisite multi-million-dollar luxury residence, Laureen has represented properties of all types. "There is no deal too small or complicated that has not had a successful outcome for my client." Complementing her vast industry knowledge and keen marketing skills, Laureen believes her success in real estate has also come from her years in teaching, which instilled in her the art of great communication, service and patience, as well as from her personal experience purchasing homes and condos. "I hope to make my personal success, my client's success as well." She currently resides with her husband at One Riverside Park. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, Laureen received a BS degree in Marketing from St. John University. Having raised her children in New Jersey and spent four wonderful years living and teaching TOEFL in Paris, she has a special appreciation for and knowledge of her hometown city. She and her husband first bought an apartment at Cityspire Condominium, then at Central Park Place, and now the new Extell building on Riverside Boulevard, where they reside currently. Upon moving to Manhattan in 1999, Laureen also decided to pursue her career in real estate - both decisions she's been thrilled with all these years. Clients appreciate the hands-on service and attentive guidance she provides them in every step of the real estate process, from showings to helping with financing, negotiating on their behalf and passing the Co-op Board, "I have never had a board turn-down and I will not start with you!" When not hard at work, Laureen is an avid reader and loves to travel. Her favorite New York hobby is horse racing up in Saratoga Springs!
