Katharine Baum

After selling her successful company as the founder/owner of Baum, Stevens, Inc., a world-wide executive search firm, Katharine has adapted her creative energy and life-long interest in real estate into her career aiding clients in residential property transactions. Her seasoned business experience, thorough market research abilities, and accurate 'people reading' skills enable her to develop a bespoke strategy for each real estate client which results in the accomplishment of their specific goals. Over the years, Katharine has lived in several neighborhoods in Manhattan including the Upper West Side, Fifth Avenue and the West Village. She currently resides with her husband in a Pre-War condo where she is a member of the management committee. Originally from the mid-west, she has lived also in Boston and San Francisco, and worked on executive search placements throughout Europe, Asia, and India. This experience helps Katharine uniquely understand clients' perspectives from various U.S .regions and internationally. Katharine's activities include teaching adult gymnastics, membership on a Symphony Board, and a patron for jazz and cabaret artists. Her education was at University of Wisconsin-Madison in Liberal Arts, Harvard University in Sciences, Boston University, B.S. Columbia University, M.A.
