About Nancy Barbiero
Nancy grew up in New York City — a Drama Major at the legendary High School of Performing Arts, the school that inspired Fame — which, it turns out, is excellent preparation for a career built on presence, persuasion, and the ability to read a room.
Before real estate, she built a career at the intersection of finance and technology: from the client desks of Morgan Stanley to Microsoft, where she supported financial services institutions at an enterprise level. That background gives her something most agents don't have — genuine fluency in the financial mechanics of a transaction, and the analytical rigor to match.
Her design sensibility runs equally deep. Years of hands-on work with contractors, combined with a lifelong practice as a painter and artist, give Nancy an eye for what a space is and — just as importantly — what it could be. Sellers rely on her staging instincts to compete. Buyers gain a partner who can map the path from a floor plan to a finished home.
Nancy launched her real estate career at Douglas Elliman, then Brown Harris Stevens and William B. May, before going independent. She knows New York City the way only someone born, raised, and fully immersed in it can — neighborhood by neighborhood, block by block.
