Christopher Tefft

I adore New York City and have spent 10 years working here. For school, I attended Interlochen Arts Academy and Millikin University, securing a Bachelors of Fine Arts. I was part of Alpha Phi Omega and Alpha Psi Omega fraternities, emphasizing fundraising, community building, and serving in multiple leadership capacities. When I'm not accomplishing real estate transactions, I'm active in the NYC Opera and Musical Theatre scene. During my career as an artist, I've performed alongside the Muppets, Judy Collins, and Anna Netrebko. As a singer and actor I've traveled to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and throughout Europe. Significant artistic credits include appearing at the Metropolitan Opera as an actor and singing in Carnegie Hall. After moving to NYC in 2011, I befriended an agent who introduced me to the Washington Heights community and who found me my first apartment here in the city. A year later, I joined the ranks at her brokerage as an administrator. During that time, I served as a listings manager, office manager, and front desk receptionist. I learned the ropes and grew to understand real estate from all sides of the transaction. I transitioned to being a real estate salesperson in 2013, and started renting apartments in the Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood neighborhoods and the Bronx. As I became more familiar with New York City, I expanded my efforts to include renting apartments on the Upper East side, Upper West side, and in Hell's Kitchen. In the last few years, I managed multiple condo sales even through the worldwide pandemic. Through 8 years of real estate experience, I have placed hundreds of clients into homes throughout Manhattan and the Bronx. I now hold a Broker's License, a step above and beyond the requirements, demonstrating lengthy experience and education in real estate. I started 'The Tefft Team at Highline Residential' to expand my operations throughout the city and to begin sharing my experience and knowledge by coaching and managing a team of my own agents. My experience with multiple capacities in the real estate business- from sales to rentals to office management and administration- all come together to give me a unique and comprehensive perspective on the business. I always go above and beyond to be a great broker for my clients.
