Nancy Holland

Nancy is an energetic and focused real estate professional who pairs her strong sales skills with warmth and confidence. With over 30 years of multidisciplinary real estate background, including 12 years in new development, she brings experience to every deal. “Buying or selling your home is likely the biggest financial decision you will make in your life, and that can be stressful.” Keeping clients confident and on track while remaining upbeat and calm empowers her to be the best real estate partner she can be.

Nancy has worked on new development projects ranging from 35 to 544 homes. She has led teams in Manhattan, Brooklyn and NJ, including directing the lease-up of Gotham West, achieving the highest ppsf in Midtown West at that time. “This was when Hudson Yards was barely begun and there were tumbleweeds on 11th Avenue!” Nancy is adept at working with high-net-worth individuals, equity partners and lenders, and loves the process of collaborating with architects, designers, and developers. She is tenacious and an excellent listener and when it comes her clients’ needs, she’s not afraid to speak up. 

Hailing from the New Jersey suburbs, Nancy moved to New York City to attend NYU. Living first in the renowned Rubin Hall on Fifth Avenue, she’s lived in the Village, Soho, NoMad and the West Village. Interestingly, she began her career in the music industry, working for Grateful Dead tour manager/famed concert promoter Jon Scher handling concert advertising for every possible musical act. “I spent days in the office and evenings working backstage everywhere we had shows, including Madison Square Garden and the old Ritz on 11th Street.” In addition, Nancy spent several years acting in both film and TV and remains a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

A long-time equestrian, Nancy is also a fitness fanatic and an avid skier. She has travelled to 28 countries, including taking the family on a caving expedition camping in the Vietnamese jungle. When exploring NYC, she never tires of the surprise element of finding something that “wasn’t there yesterday!” From going to see her friends’ DJ sets all over to getting tea on Bleecker to going to open houses, she’s in love with the city. Her daughter, Sierra Shade, is an educator who works summers in a Broadway box office, and her son, Chance, is an artist and stagehand with Broadway’s Lion King. She is always making plans and Nancy can always be counted on to host holidays, last minute drinks, or evenings by her fireplace.
