Michael Clemente

Michael is the founder of The Clemente Team, leading DeSimone Real Estate’s Westchester and NYC market, with over a decade of real estate experience. He grew up on Long Island with Founder/Owner of DeSimone Real Estate, Serafino DeSimone, who approached Michael to oversee the company's ongoing expansion efforts into residential and commercial real estate, as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

In his prior role, Michael served as Leasing Manager for one of the largest real estate developers in the country, Related Companies, where he was responsible for growing their luxury leasing division in NYC. He was recognized as the company's top agent 5-years in a row (2016-2021), for generating the most net revenue (per sq-ft) in the portfolio and maintaining the highest closing percentage. This opportunity gave him deeper insight into the overall real estate market, operations within shared/owned commercial space, and development.

Before entering the world of real estate, he spent 5 years in finance at JP Morgan in Alternative Investment Services, where he serviced private equity and hedge fund clients and their investors.

Michael’s background in finance, where he acquired his strategic and analytical skills, coupled with his desire to work with people, passion for sales and all things real estate, gives him a very unique advantage in a competitive market. Having worked/lived in NYC for 10, Michael has acquired a vast amount of knowledge and contacts across multiple markets.
