Austin Lai

As a licensed real estate agent, Austin brings a multi-dimensional lens to every property, exploring how, value, aesthetics and current trends intersect. By studying each building’s offering plan, assessing massing, layout, and even window placement, he ensures a harmonious fit within its neighborhood, adding depth to his approach and perspective on New York City’s market. Austin is a graduate of The Cooper Union, where he majored in architecture and minored in art history.

He has an expertise in apartment renovations, drawing on his design knowledge and proficiency with 3D modeling software, complemented by his passion for and insights into kitchen appliances, cabinetry, and bathroom fixtures to enhance both form and function, delivering improvements that not only look exceptional, but also provide lasting value for owners and future residents alike. 

Originally from Taipei, Austin attended boarding school in London, before coming to New York for college. He has called the city home for 6 years, and resides in the Gramercy Park neighborhood.
