Prior to joining Douglas Elliman and becoming a full-time agent, he worked for a real estate private equity group in Los Angeles, and subsequently for development firms in New York City. Ryan gained unparalleled knowledge of new development and luxury properties while with the world's leading luxury developers such as Alexico Group at their 56 Leonard development in Tribeca, and Hines at their 53W53 development in Midtown. He works in all price ranges, within all Manhattan neighborhoods.

Born and raised in Montecito, California, Ryan attended college in Texas at Southern Methodist University where he majored in advertising.
