The next step would be for the new owner to complete the construction according to the plans in place or choose an alternate design. The floor plan, as represented, was one of the last projects by Greg Jordan of Greg Jordan Design. There is a wonderful sense of openness, light and view. The double height living room with leaded and stained glass windows, the six woodburning fireplaces and the detail that remains intact give this home a very special feeling. There is substantial space on these three floors to have four or five bedrooms should that be one’s need. The building, 131 East 66th, was designed by Charles A. Platt and completed in 1906. "Platt produced a “real” building with a chaste, authoritative English renaissance-style limestone facade, sumptuous in its cool reserve". 131 East 66th will be celebrating its centennial this year. The building has restored its roof, parapets, windows and limestone facade in preparation. Three private storage bins are included.
