I am listing my apartment for rent by owner while I am working out of state. The apartment is an oversized studio flexed into a 1BR with a great view of the empire state building. The floors and bathroom are newly renovated and the apartment is in great shape.

The kitchen is a full kitchen including dishwasher. The plumbing under the sink was replaced last year.

The apartment comes furnished (no mattress, no office chairs). All furniture is less than 3 years old, and was selected to optimize the space. The desk is a Fully Jarvis sit/stand desk with electric controls, the bed is a Lazzoni storage bed, the couch is a Crate & Barrel lounger with a storage chaise, the Ottomans are from Room & Board and have storage, and the coffee table folds out to become a dining table. Other furniture includes the foyer dining table and chairs from Room & Board, and the dresser in the dressing room from Crate & Barrel. I am open to having small pieces (rug, ottomans, book shelf, etc.) removed, but larger pieces will be a challenge. I am willing to reimburse for professional deep cleaning of the couch (within reason).

The building is located in Chelsea, right next to the 123, and a block away from the ACE, FM, and L trains. Washington Square Park and Union Square park are both short walks away, and you’ll have access to a lot of great Chelsea/West Village dining options.

The building has a fantastic rooftop with panoramic views of the city. It’s a great place to entertain guests or relax and soak in the skyline. There’s a laundry room in the basement as well as bike storage, and parking (for extra fees). Pets allowed! Water/gas/electricity utilities included in rent.

PLEASE NOTE – this apartment is in a coop building (The Vermeer), and renters need to be approved by the coop board. The application process means a few more hoops to jump through, but I’ll happily assist with those.

I’m going to miss this place a lot and hope to return some day, but in the meantime I’m hopeful someone else can find use of the space. Please feel free to message me with any questions.
