Central Park Place is composed of 2 separate buildings, the lower building, of six stories, and a Tower of fifty five stories, and the building is located on the northwest corner of Eighth Avenue and West 57th Street .

The building has a number of amenities such as a large lap pool and sauna, full gym, large outdoor terrace with garden furniture and plantings, and four guest rooms available to be rented out to guests of the residents only, at below market rents. In addition the building offers storage units and bicycle storage. A laundry room is also available to renters of studio and the smaller one bedroom apartments. The building features an Olmstead Club which has a large seating/lounge area and a large meeting room. In addition there is a full kitchen so that owners can reserve the Olmstead Club, at a nominal fee, for fully catered functions.
