I have a TRUE 3 bedroom (does not need to be converted) in the East Village on the 6th floor of an ELEVATOR building. There is a SHARED BACKYARD for the building which is great for laying out/ grilling, dinner parties etc. The apartment is prewired for internet, and has hard wood floors. Clean well lit LAUNDRY ROOM. There is additional closets in the living room.

There is a FITNESS ROOM with brand new machines (bought May 15th 2016) in the building. Oh the building is pet friendly as well.

Flexible landlord, guarantors are allowed from anywhere in the US, sublets ok, Being a broker I can choose any of my landlords buildings to live in and I chose these guys.
After 8 years they have been great with repairs, re sanded my floors half way through my lease, repainted the walls when we requested it, and their rent increases have been modest.

There is a police station across the street which in regards to safety is actually pretty great. Its only for detectives and parking meters so no loud sirens but makes the block one of the safest in the East Village.
The area is awesome- There’s a huge running track on Houston a block over where Zog sports plays a lot of games. Two free Outside public swimming are a block away as well. There’s a Whole Foods down Houston street with a YMCA that has an Olympic sized swimming pool. SOHO, Lower East Side, NYU, Greenwich Village, Nolita, and of course all the East Village are close by. Oh MTA has a website now that tells you the exact minute when the bus will be on the corner.
