LOCATION: The apartment is in Prospect Heights, about 6 blocks from the Brooklyn Museum and Botanic Gardens, and another few to Grand Army Plaza (farmer’s market!!) and Prospect Park. On the corner is a great bar and excellent Japanese place and two strong coffee shops, and nearby are tons more bars (and Japanese places and coffee shops and Mexican restaurants and Italian and Korean and pizza places and Thai places), as well as a really rad Caribbean community with some of the best jerk and roti in the city. Also a mere 3 blocks from the legendary Tom’s Restaurant.

If you want to leave Washington (not that you’d need to), you’re directly adjacent to Vanderbilt, Classon, and Franklin, all bustling in their own right, and directly south of Clinton Hill / Fort Greene. Barclays Center is in easy walking distance for the Nets or the Stones or what have you, as is Park Slope and even, a bit further, downtown Brooklyn.
