The psychology out there is gloomy, but there are still owners/sellers/brokers who don't get it, which means we are far from a bottom. I particularly like the following quotes:
"Indeed, as formerly bitter renters pass that torch to newly beleaguered owners, they are having very different conversations about real estate."
and
"You're in a short-term hate market when you have prices coming down 30 to 40 percent, but there's still some feeling you can make some money out of this... A hate market is not a market bottom. That will be marked by a sustained period of apathy — and quiet."
