Discussion about
Anyone have any recommendations for a good cleaning company/person? Preferrably one that will do deep cleaning and regular maintenance cleaning. Thanks.
Like just for an apt? I have used the same woman for years - Eleana at 718-291-5318. Very reliable, comes twice a month. Has followed me from FiDi to HK to Harlem since 2002, only called in sick once. Say "mr. Jason recommended you." That is what she calls me.
yes, for an apartment. thanks.
so, everyone else moonlights as Mrs Featherbottom nights and weekends?
No one else can recommend cleaners?
I've heard good things about Little Elves, but haven't actually used them myself.
We've had the same guy for 18 years. He's fine, for us, but it didn't work well the last few times I recommended him.
For a deep clean, I recommend Little Elves. They bring a team and all the cleaning stuff. I've used NY Brite as well for a deep clean and they weren't as good.
I've used Little Elves 2x - once when I just gave birth and it was bliss to have everything cleaned around me (all my clothes neatly folded and put back; shoes all lined up). And the other time, we had a minor lead dust issue.
For regular maintenance, ask around your neighborhood. One word of advice - if you are getting cleaning weekly, it may be wise to get 2 diff. cleaning people and get them to alternate weeks. That way, if you need to fire one of them, it's not such a hardship for them, and your place doesn't get too bad in the interim.
white glove elite... dolly, sarah or clemina
On my architect's recommendation, I recently contacted Little Elves for a post-construction deep cleaning. The estimate I got was twice the amount that I would have considered to be exorbitant. Instead, I went with Imacuclean, who I had used a couple of years ago, and they were very good at less than half the price.
i would not reco little elves. white glove is very good (depending on who you get) and a decent price. and they are very flexible (ie if you need to cxl- just do it before 6 pm the day prior)
