Wow! Flashbacks of very early posts from me. I did have the opportunity to see two open house apartments at the Arcadia a few months ago. I wasn't impressed with the building security (or lack thereof). They let me go up to the apartments unescorted and without calling either apartment to let them know that I was coming up. The rooms were adequate sized and there was good light because of the floor to ceiling windows, but the apartments had a kind of railroad apartment type feel to them. Also I disliked the fact that these windows could be opened by turning a knob and then the windows could be opened from the bottom- no barrier at all outside the window so it didn't look that safe to me. Must be a new style window type.

Lobster, have you seen the Cielo? If you have what do you think. I really like it, but the location is far, far east.

I've only seen the outside of the building because like you, the location is too far east for me. Why not start a discussion about the Cielo- maybe some other SE buyers or brokers have seen the apartments?
