amazing how crappy construction was still moving during the bubble, probably without even offering lower prices to compensate for it. many buyers couldn't care less, as they took for granted they will flip within few years. anyway, crappy construction was a sign of the times. if foreclosures of entire buildings become common, would Uncle Sam become the biggest ghetto landlord? that happened in 1972 in many cities.

hopefully the drywall doesn't have the toxic stuff from China.
