We finally sucked it up and bought a co-op - hooray! Feel free to call me an idiot, but I was a previous owner and had some sort of primal need to own... The place is overall in good conditions other than the guest bathroom. It is a small bathroom and looks like it has not been re-done in 30-40 years, although the sink looks new and we just had the bathtub re-surfaced (because it was gross), but the tiles, floors, walls, toilet, vanity, and lighting are all pretty icky. This is a guest bathroom that will rarely be used, so I really can't justify spending a lot and definitely do not want any plumbing moved. Does anyone have a contractor they can suggest who would take on this smallish project and get it done quickly for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance for your kind advice... [less]
