architect cost

Discussion about
I need an architect to file plans for a renovated bathroom..and kitchen. He needs to take measurements of the apartment given that Bldg doesn't have CADs for the apartment. It's a 2 bedroom 2 bath loft but the work is only for kitchen and bathroom. Any ideas how much that should cost? Recommendation for architects? Thank you!

You might want to see if you can skip the architect and get an expediter - some of whom will get an architect to do the drawings a lot cheaper than you can, while the architect will most probably hire an expediter for the filing, and tack on a markup for their work.
