Discussion about
Hi, I'm considering to buy a studio - 1 BR on Upper West Side within the next months. So far prices seem to remain pretty stable for small units and they often sell pretty fast. Of course there are numerous reasons for that, but could the cash back for new home buyers be one of them? Should I wait until January? Thanks for any advice.

Yes Steve, that's exactly what my crystal ball said. It also said you're an idiot and that's how I know it's accurate.

Um--back to topic--yes, new home buyers are part of the reason but not the whole reason. In a recession especially cheaper goods move more easily, period. PROPERLY PRICED apartments are moving right along because there is some pent-up demand out there, fer sure.
