Discussion about
Never thought in a million yesrs we'd be able to own a home. We've been content renting in Manhattan for 13 years. This market that has been a curse for so many has been a blessing for us. We move into our condo on the 19th & are busy painting & planning our new home. The market might go down, it might go up. Regardless, we are happy having a home that we can afford, in a neighborhood we love and where we will be happy to live for many years to come.

b. What is your apt square feet?

please remember, you do not live in Park Slope South, you're in Sunset Park.

We bought a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom
The apartment is approx. 975 square feet
We also bought an indoor parking space that is approx. 180 square feet
Including the parking we spent appox $296 per square foot
We're somewhere in the grey area of Prospect Lefferts Garden & Prospect Park South - depending on who you ask you get both answers... we are excited about living so close to the park regardless!

relax there hotproperty...... most realtors call 19th st PPS not Sunset Park as it is.

new2brooklyn purchased on East 19th Street and knows where she will be living. Corcoran/Elliman call that area prime Ditmas Park...

Very nice n2b & $296 per square foot! Very good deal and the parking space is a major +! Congrats again.

ab_11218, it looks like they moved in on the 19th of some month, not to 19th street... new2brooklyn, hope you're enjoying your neighborhood -- I think PLG / Prospect Park South is a great neighborhood!
