Has anyone actually seen Unit 4B (top floor front duplex)? Just curious if the "Attic/Storage" space on the top level is finished use-able space or really an attic? Also, why can't developers legally call these spaces living rooms/bedrooms (whether the second level of a top floor duplex, or the cellar level of a bottom floor duplex)?

If a cellar, because it's a cellar. Can have only a half-bath, but the developers fudge by leaving space for you to add a shower.

The stairs to the attic here don't look as if they're to code, which I think prohibits winders, but probably other reasons.

I've seen this apartment. Currently to get to the attic you have to climb a ladder. Agent said the stairs were behind sheetrock which needed to be knocked down.

Upstairs is sort of finished - the floors and walls are done. It has windows, but again they are behind sheetrock that needs to be knocked down. The ceiling is also not that high - you can stand under it, but there is not a lot of space. Agent also said there was space to make it higher. All of this was this way because of building code.

Personally I think its a cool apartment, but a little in the middle of no where for my tastes.
