Discussion about
Why is the STREETEASY logo in a blue street sign? NYC and most of the towns in the tri-state area (as far as I know) use green street signs and not blue. While blue street signs may be popular in the Western U.S. and L.A. area, they are pretty uncommon here. Wonder why, if anyone knows, streeteasy elected to brand themselves with a blue sign instead of green.

It would look like Sesame Street if it were green...

Because we lament the uniform green street signs in NYC. It didn't used to be that way! And we hated the way the green looked.

Any brand consultant will tell you that blue is a "service color."
