Discussion about 7 East 75th Street in Lenox Hill
The management/owner is dishonest. never returned phonecalls and refused to refund the security deposit, for no reason. Only when going to court to reclaim the security deposit the landlord showed up with a check (never reacted to letters, attorney's letter and court order). But only after the judge called our case for the roll the landlord came up to me and said "it was all a misunderstanding" and miraculously had a check ready, for the amount of the security deposit exl. interest. Conclusion: dishonest, stingy - who wants a landlord like this?

Tell us the landlords name? Does he own other buildings? What's the name of the company? He tried to screw you and you went through a major hassel to get what was already yours. Don't be so timid, this is an anonymous board...let's here it and, were there any extenuating issues?
