And major price drops too. Did these brokers do their client any favors waiting 5 months to drop the price to $3500? Why didn't the owner offer all along to pay the fee? StreetEasy History 03/08/2009 Listed in StreetEasy by Prudential Elliman at $4,000. 08/16/2009 Price decreased by 13% to $3,500. 08/16/2009 Listing entered contract.

Also looks like rent to own, the own part of it got a lot cheaper.

So the seller is taking a loss including losing the new condo fees, and is financing the buyer for a full year.
