The monthly common charges alone are $45,000. That's great!

There is no other apartment like that in New York and you would have to be a billionaire to afford it. Does that answer your question #1?

I love the monthly mortgage calculations in the listings. $436,000 per month and that includes taxes and common charges. I wonder if I can get an interest only mortgage on this one.

And when the owners walk out the door of the building, they can hike north along the Avenue for a couple of miles and gaze at the apartments where the kids sleep two and three to a bed. I think we've just found a new definition of obscenity.

If you think that poverty is not an issue in this country, YOU'RE retarded. Yes, that's quite an apartment!

If you have the money and want to spend it in such a way you can do whatever you want. All of you people that say it's too much have no right to say that. Just because you think it's excessive doesn't mean you're right. If someone wants to pay $70MM for a home that is their business and has absolutely NOTHING to do with you, mind your own business!

For those who can afford this, they do not need/use/know Streeteasy or any other web based listings. they have their own full itme accountants and staffers to advise and look on this.

To those who absolutely cannot afford it, this is the intended consumer to see it at the web, droole a little, wish had more income, even if making well over 6 figures and... go merrily buying an overly price piece of property thinking he/she just make a great deal, compared with the Pierre (by the way, it could not be the Peter)
For the middle class and lower inconme earners, it is just business as usual

That apartment has been on an off the market for well over a year by the way. I guess if they wait long enough it may be worth $70M. If somebody would lend me $69,950,000, I'll take it.

Jane Fonda's charitable foundation hasn't donated money since 2006: report

Tax returns obtained by the Smoking Gun show that the star's foundation made no donations in the past several years. Her attorney defends that 'a ton of money' given by her foundation in 2005 exempted her from giving more over those years.
