Discussion about
I am putting a offer in for a Condo, the broker asked for my social security number. Is that legitimate question? Anyone have any insight onto 20 West st. (downtown athletic club)?

Yes, it's a legitimate question.

And an equally legitimate answer from you would be "no".

Only the Social Security Administration and the IRS can demand Social Security number. Not even the DMV can demand it (I know, since I've declined to give it).

The broker mentioned the 2008 financials are not available yet. Is there anything to be worried about as this is a Condo?
