What if the Dr Gave you a stress test lying down? Would you pass?

The figures, Mr. Whalen said, call into question assumptions made by the government earlier this year, when it put major banks through “stress tests.” In short, the tests may not have been tough enough.

I thought the stress test was just a public confidence builder. If any company actually failed the stress test, it would pretty much sink the company. At that time of the economic crisis, doing that to a company would be a disaster.
