Discussion about 514 Broadway #PH6G
where do you think this apt clears? seems like it's down from last sale at $1.4 mm in 2005 but still not too cheap at $1.2 mm for a 1250 sq ft one bedroom? further to fall from here? http://www.streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/390197-coop-514-broadway-soho-new-york

So let's get this straight. You've got what's basically a studio apartment with sleeping loft (and smallish sleeping loft, at that) that has no entry foyer (you enter directly into a postage-stamp of a kitchen) and you have to walk through two "rooms" to get to the main bathroom. For 1.2 MILLION.

Insane.

And the elevator stops short of the top floor - where this unit is located? One would take the elevator to the fifth floor then walk up a flight of steps to get to your door. Am I reading the description right? How odd.

makes sense nycmatt - and you're correct saraj. certainly odd. so what do you think this sells for in today's market and in 2014 (when thinking longer term)?

If they build/extend the elevator to the top floor (the floor of said apartment) I will offer 850K right now sight unseen
