Discussion about
I've been doing a lot of research and open houses the last 6 months to educate myself on the market and feel now is a good time to buy. Problem is I'm not sure the best way to find a good broker who will fit my needs and personality. Recommendations through friends are for brokers that don't specialize in the neighborhoods I'm looking in (Gramercy, Evill, Greenwich). Any suggestions on the best way to go about this? Thanks!
why would you want a broker who doesn't specialize in the neighborhoods you prefer? A broker who knows the neighborhood and the buildings is what you should prefer
oldbroker: Re-read the thread starter. The problem is that friends have recommended brokers, but nobody who specializes in Bodhi's target neghborhoods.
Bodhi: Among SE posters, front_porch (Ali Rogers) and keithb (Keith Burkhardt) are active downtown. They can probably help you, or recommend somebody appropriate. They will probably need more information about you and your requirements, but I suggest you provide that information off-board.
