Discussion about 6 West 77th Street #15C
Two problems with this apt. 1. Museum WILL build a tower blocking most/all views. They have already proposed several plans. It is not a matter of if, but when and what. 2. The apartment currently faces a MASSIVE cell tower installation with numerous transmitters and the necessary air conditioners right next to the master bedroom. See American Cancer Society site for issues with this radiation.

What's your motivation to dis this apartment?

And you are implying that the ACS finds these towers to be a cancer risk, which is almost the exact opposite of their position:

Which makes me wonder if your first point has any truth to it, either.

Anyone interested can stop by tomorrow and check out the visual/noise impact of the antennas and the AC equipment. A new tower, if it happens, would be many years away. (Not that that'd make you feel better then.) You'd still have the view from the master bedroom.

The Historical Society's lease with Verizon is on ACRIS, and a buyer would check its terms.
