Discussion about
caught this in the post thing on Curtis Martin... "Out of 438 units, only 30 percent are occupied. And that includes some renters. The developer, RAL, released some units for rentals last July." I think we can officially call the building toast...
Darn, typo (it rejected it the first time, and I went to quickly).
Title should read 30%, not 20%
where is this building??
1 Brooklyn Bridge Park? Joralemon and the east river, brooklyn side. They claim Brooklyn Heights, but you have to cross under the bqe. Closer to Columbia Heights in my book...
By my calculations the % in the title of this thread is closer to the truth than The Post...
Closed: 75 / 438 = 17%
Rented: would need to be 57 units to get to 30%, but they only released 25 sponsor units and I haven't seen them flying off the shelf at $40-55/sqft since they came on in May. Heck some of the investor owned units have been sitting on the market gathering dust at $38/sqft. My guess is they got half the 25 rented tops - 87 / 438 = 20%
And I think nyc10022 means Columbia St Waterfront District not Columbia Heights (AKA primest of prime Brooklyn Heights)
yeah is sad but I dont see how they even have 30 percent
