I read this in a Barclays "weekly credit call" research report and it INSTANTLY reminded me of my days posting on these forums! "Our credit team is concerned that the market perceives certain housing-related metrics as “good” while they may actually only reflecting strong seasonal trends or the temporary effects of policy support. The team believes that the market may be overly optimistic about the housing sector improvement, which could result in disappointment down the road"
