Apparently, according to the floor plan, the side of the building is a retaining wall for the Hudson River. I guess if someone is looking for the feeling of living on the old London Bridge this is the perfect apartment.

That's the apartment Giselle Bundchen (spelling?) has been trying to sell for a while. She used to be asking significantly more. I think she lives in a townhouse in the Village, and the Observer reports that she may be trying to sell that too.

She paid $2.925MM in November 2002, so $4.5MM still doesn't seem like a particular bargain.
