joedavis, it was a pleasure to share this process with u. You are a smart buyer. Hope to be your neighbor by the end of next year.

At least you have a sense of humor. Use your tax credit wisely, remember Ikea stuff just won't do anymore. : )

While I am not certain you are at bottom, I am certain that you did much better than you would have a few years ago... So enjoy your home. And thanks for your input.

Congratulations Joe. Not just homeownership but HOUSE ownership...and in a beautiful area that will only get nicer. Who cares if could have gotten a few thousand dollars cheaper if you waited a little longer, you will be able to ENJOY it that much longer.

lyzyank, I am familiar with joedavis buy and I can tell u he got a very, very good deal that prices in a possible future drop. He was a very dedicated buyer. He was my Harlem hunter buyer buddy. I am very happy for him but I will miss our daily exchange of info. Thanks to SE for being a meeting place for people that are in the same trip and willing to help each other.

Congrats Joe! I ride down Manhattan avenue a few days a week from Wash. Hts. to ride in Central park. Beautiful area, best of luck.

Joe: I was advocating buying a townhouse in some other thread because it appeared to fit your circumstances perfectly.

Joe, you were one of the earliest contributors to the UWS niche on this site. Thanks for your thoughts. Best of luck with you purchase. And I advise you to never look back. Hopefully we all can find something that fits our needs.

Don't the kool-aid taste gooooood!

We closed Sept 1 and I am in day 18 of consecutive 16 hour days redoing my new place. Best of luck Joe. I'd say more but I'm falling asleep.
