Where would you buy molding in NYC for not too much $$$?

Moulding is not very expensive to begin with. It is the labor to install that kills you. Dykes Lumber has a good selection available in MDF (which doesn't expand or contract and is an excellent choice for crowns) and wood (better for baseboards that get more wear and tear). No idea if there is less expensive option.

rent a table saw... well worth the extra expense... and date a tall guy/gal for that month... and remember dont' worry about wasting moulding... better to start with one long piece than to use a bunch of little ones... TRUST ME.. I KNOW....

How much should you expect to pay to have it installed?
